Maintenance frequency depends on the environment and system usage, but generally, visual inspection and filter cleaning are recommended at least every three months, and a complete system review at least once a year. The use of specialized chemicals for duct cleaning, such as those containing biocides to prevent the growth of bacteria and fungi, is a recommended practice.
Finally, the correct placement of air supply and return grilles is essential to ensure uniform air distribution and avoid uncomfortable drafts. Factors such as ceiling height, furniture placement, and space layout should be considered to optimize airflow.
