Correct diffuser placement is determined using CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) simulations to optimize airflow and avoid cold or hot spots.

Preventive maintenance is essential to ensure system efficiency and lifespan. This includes regular filter cleaning, duct inspection for leaks, mechanical component inspection, and verification of control functionality. A well-implemented preventive maintenance program can significantly reduce repair costs and extend system life. Specialized companies typically offer maintenance contracts that include periodic inspections, cleaning, and component repair.

The integration of energy management systems (EMS) with ducted HVAC systems allows for energy consumption optimization through automatic control of temperature, ventilation, and lighting. These systems can adapt to building occupancy and weather conditions, reducing energy consumption without compromising comfort.
