We recently had REFRISUSA install a new split air conditioning unit in our living room, and I’m extremely pleased with the results. We opted for a Daikin FDX50NV, a 5-star energy rated model with a 5.5kW (19,000 BTU) cooling capacity, running on R32 refrigerant. The installation team was incredibly professional and knowledgeable, clearly understanding the importance of proper refrigerant charging. What truly impressed me was the attention to noise levels. They meticulously leveled the indoor unit and used vibration dampeners, resulting in a surprisingly quiet operation – especially considering the unit’s capacity. I was initially concerned about noise, but it’s barely noticeable even on the highest cooling setting. During the installation, I noticed they used a laser level to ensure the indoor unit was perfectly aligned, which is a small detail, but speaks volumes about their precision. The whole process was completed efficiently and with clear explanations of the system’s features and maintenance requirements. My only minor observation is that the cable management could have been a little tidier, but functionally everything is perfect.
